Cookie Policy
The cookies and local storage Dokven uses, what each is for, its category, and how to control them. Analytics is cookieless and anonymous by default; analytics cookies and session replay stay off until you consent.

1. What this covers
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) that Dokven uses, why, and how you can control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: required for the Service to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional: remember preferences such as your theme and save work in progress.
- Analytics: help us understand product usage and improve the Service. By default our analytics runs in a cookieless mode: it is anonymous, stores nothing on your device, and does not include session replay. Analytics cookies (which recognize you across visits) and session replay are non-essential and run only after you accept them.
- Marketing: we do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we ever do, they will be listed here and gated behind consent.

4. Consent and your choices
How consent works
You can also control cookies and storage by:
- using the cookie banner to accept or keep essential-only;
- changing your browser settings to block or delete cookies and clear local storage; and
- using the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor as an opt-out of analytics sharing where applicable.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Service, such as staying signed in.
